There are around five hundred families who live permanently on Capo Rizzuto, but in the summer the population increases greatly due to the presence of tourists and islanders who want to enjoy the sea. The promontory, of wild and rare natural beauty, stands on the Ionian Sea and allows the sun’s rays, both at dawn and at sunset, to freely display themselves among the sea waves!

We nuns are dedicated to the Sanctuary of the Greek Madonna; we also take care of the first small church built towards the end of the seventeenth century in his honor and of the church of Sant’Anna

In addition to this, we dedicate ourselves to the catechesis of children, to visits to families and to the sick to whom we bring the Eucharist. Let us go where Providence calls us to listen and to collaborate in spreading the Gospel. We are concerned with sowing good in harmony; the harvest will be at the right time, when God wants.

Today we already gather among the people the positive testimony of the Rosminian Sisters who preceded us and we are happy to be able to joyfully continue what they started.
