The families who live permanently in Capo Rizzuto are about five hundred, but in the summer the population increases a lot due to the presence of tourists and islanders who want to enjoy the sea. The promontory, of wild and rare natural beauty, stands on the Ionian Sea and leaves the sun’s rays, both at dawn and dusk, to perform freely among the waves of the sea!
We nuns are dedicated to the Sanctuary of our Greek Madonna; we also take care of the first church built towards the end of the seventeenth century in his honor and the church of Sant’Anna
In addition to this, we dedicate ourselves to the catechesis of children, to visits to families and the sick to whom we bring the Eucharist. Let us go where Providence calls us to listen and to collaborate in spreading the Gospel. We are concerned to sow the good in harmony; the harvest will be at the opportune time, when God wills.
Today we already gather among the people the positive witness of the Rosminian Sisters who preceded us and we are happy to be able to continue with joy what they have begun.

<<Siamo molto contente della nostra dedizione a questa Chiesa Locale di Crotone in Calabria.
La nostra casa è in mezzo a quelle della gente e noi partecipiamo a tutte le attività pastorali di liturgia, catechesi, evangelizzazione. Accompagniamo e coordiniamo le catechiste nella programmazione, durante gli incontro di catechesi, di preghiera e nelle attività di animazione.
Non dimentichiamo gli anziani e gli ammalati, che visitiamo nelle loro case, da sole o con il parroco, facciamo compagnia e portiamo un po’ di conforto, accolte sempre con tanta gioia e gratitudine.
Diamo la nostra collaborazione nel programmare le iniziative dell’USMI diocesana, una suora fa parte della Commissione Diocesana Evangelizzazione e Catechesi. >>
